STEP 1
THE INITIAL CONSULTATION
It all starts with a free, no-obligation in-home consultation. One of our design specialists will visit your home to review your space, take precise measurements, and discuss your unique storage needs.
During this visit, we’ll collaborate with you to design solutions that maximize every inch—whether it’s a small closet, a walk-in pantry, or multiple rooms. Most consultations take about an hour for one to two spaces. If you’d like us to assess additional areas, we’re happy to take the extra time needed to get it right.
Our goal is simple: to understand your lifestyle and design spaces that make everyday living more organized and enjoyable.
STEP 2
THE DESIGN PHASE
During your in-home consultation, one of our experienced designers will take detailed measurements and talk with you about your storage needs, style preferences, and how you use your space day-to-day. Then—right there on the spot—we’ll develop multiple customized design options for you to consider.
While other companies may take days or even weeks to provide plans, we create yours in real time, during your visit. You’ll get to see visual renderings, view sample materials and finishes, and explore several layout ideas tailored to your lifestyle and space.
Once you’ve reviewed your options, we’ll walk you through the pricing for each design. Whether it’s one closet or several rooms, we’re happy to design and quote as many spaces as you'd like while we're there. No waiting. No back and forth. Just smart, thoughtful design done quickly and professionally—in the comfort of your own home.
STEP 3
THE ORDERING PHASE
Once you’ve finalized your design, placing your order is simple—and can even be done during your in-home consultation. If you decide to move forward at that time, we can go ahead and schedule your installation date on the spot.

That’s because our custom closets are manufactured right here in North Carolina, using premium materials and expert craftsmanship that ensure every system is built to last.

STEP 4
THE PREPARATION PHASE
To ensure a smooth installation, your existing closet must be cleared and prepped ahead of time. You’re welcome to handle the prep yourself, or we can take care of it for you for a small additional fee.
At Clozetivity of Raleigh-Durham, we’re highly experienced in preparing spaces for installation—including the removal of wire or wood shelving, patching holes, and even painting, if needed. Many of our customers prefer to have us handle the full process—from demo to final install—so they don’t have to coordinate multiple contractors.
We’re happy to discuss your options during your initial consultation and provide a quote for any prep services you’d like us to take care of. Whether you DIY or leave it to us, we’ll make sure your space is ready for a flawless transformation.
STEP 5
THE INSTALLATION PHASE
Once your custom systems are ready, our in-house installation specialist will return to bring your new space to life. Installations are typically completed in just one day—even for multiple closets or full-home projects.
Because everything is made-to-measure and prepped in advance, our team can work efficiently and cleanly, with minimal disruption to your home. From start to finish, we treat your space with care and professionalism.
Before we leave, we’ll do a full walkthrough to ensure everything is installed correctly and looks exactly as expected. Once complete, all that’s left to do is enjoy your beautifully organized, clutter-free space.
